Teacher appreciation is one way of showing love

TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY Each one of us celebrates birthdays, anniversaries and even Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. But Teachers Day? Not all are keen on celebrating this event for one reason or another. But for the teachers themselves, they crave to be recognized and thanked for all the things that they are doing for their students.

Teacher appreciation is one way of showing love and care to those teachers who ceaselessly give their time and effort to impart whatever they have learned to their students.

Teachers, undeniably, play a very important role in the personal and professional growth of students. Thus, showing teacher appreciation would definitely give him or her the feeling that he or she is being cared for by the students. After all, teachers really do give and show care to their students. Every year, a Teacher Appreciation Week and World Teacher’s Day is being celebrated anywhere in the world and some schools prepare lots of activities to mark the occasion.

But perhaps the most admiring – and maybe romantic – way of showing thanks to your teacher is to send him or her a teacher appreciation quote that you personally compose. Never mind if you are not the poetic type or someone who doesn’t have an inclination in poetry. Just compose a Teacher day poem that comes from your heart and mind.

In making a teacher appreciation quote, you may ask yourself how important is your teacher to you or how much did you learn about the subject he or she taught.

In your teacher appreciation quote, you may mention some of the things your teacher did to you, like when he or she provided you with some tutorial lessons after classes, taking care of you when something has gone wrong, or just about anything that you think deserves some recognition.

Here are some examples of a teacher appreciation quote:

“Teaching is a noble profession. Teach me today and I will teach others tomorrow.”

“Patience cannot be bought but the patience you showed to me when I’m in a moody state is worth a million.”

“Growing old is inevitable but you prepared me to become a responsible individual by imparting good values and quality education.”

“Giving me a low grade in one subject pushed me to study more. Thanks for showing me the way on how to become the best in the class.”

Be imaginative in making a teacher appreciation quote. You may write it in a hand-made card and you may even put you and your teacher’s photographs to make the card more personal.

Even if you find it hard to compose a teacher appreciation quote, don’t worry because things would just keep popping into your mind once you get to remember all the beautiful and happy things you shared with your teacher. And whatever you feel about your teacher, don’t be shy in showing it off.

Making a teacher appreciation quote doesn’t mean you are being corny. Remember that just like your mother or father, your teacher also needs some recognition for helping you grow, learn and become a good citizen.

FURTHER EDUCATION CHOICES

When looking into further education, there are a multitude of institutions to choose from, each offering a wide choice of courses and a unique style of education program.

Towards the end of high school, all students should be offered career training, a guide through what will be some of their most important years of education.

Choices are wide and varied: ranging from a nursing school to a military school, from a golf school to a business school.  Although choice can only be a good thing, it can sometimes make the decision harder.  Imagine, all throughout high school you have studied maths, economics and computers and you have great plans to go to a reputable business school.  Then, during your summer holiday, you see some very attractive advertising for a golf school.  It is the holidays, you are in the sun at your favourite golf club…It can be very easy to be swayed!  This is why it is important to thoroughly research your choices- consulting the best career education sources – not only those offered by your high school or boarding school but also those on the internet – from online schools or blogs by current students.

As well as other people’s experiences, you should also consider your own; how have you worked best during high school?  Do you work better alone?  If so, then perhaps an online degree program is the best choice for you.  Do you relish any opportunity for travel?  Then you’d probably work best as an international student – a good education directory can tell you about the best overseas educational institutes (for example, if you are considering time abroad in a city, Madrid has lots to offer in terms of nightlife, museums and parks.  Not only this, it is just a stone’s throw away from mountains, beaches and other great Spanish cities such as Salamanca.  Students here Madrid also find they can make journeys home with ease as the city has such an efficient airport).  With any type of request for work, whether it be resume writing, an internship cover letter or application form, something which stands out – such as travel or the ability to study languages – always looks good.

Whatever you do, make sure your decision is an educated one, that it is your own (you are not too much influenced by education advertising or your friends) and that you can honestly say you feel capable of doing what the education program will entail. Having all this 100% sure will allow you to take your next steps into further education with confidence – another must!
